We are currently looking for Reach Truck Drivers to join our client team at the Newmarket site.

This is an entry-level position ideal for candidates interested in starting a career in driving a reach truck. No prior experience is required as we will provide on-the-job training.

Job Details

• Pay Rate: Starting from £12.24 per hour + holiday accrual (12.07%) paid weekly
• Shifts: Long night or day shifts available, rota between Sunday to Saturday some text
   
  • Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
   
  • Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
 
• Employment Type: Full-time, ongoing job
• Experience: No experience required

Key Responsibilities

• Reach Truck Operation: Learn to operate a reach truck to move and store materials within the warehouse
• Loading/Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading trucks and verifying incoming and outgoing shipments
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on the reach truck under the supervision of a senior driver
• Safety: Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments

Requirements

• Willingness to Learn: Be eager to learn the  technical skills associated with driving a reach truck
• Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain focused under pressure
• Communication: Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Flexibility: Be flexible and able to work night shifts and weekends as required
